We attended one of the summer talks on roses.  I've been meaning to visit for a long time as I follow them on IG.  I traveĺled all the 3 hours from Bedfordshire and I was not disappointed at all!   It is rose heaven!  There are so many roses to purchase plus they have rose garden areas that are gorgeous!  The talks are packed with people who want to learn more from the pro's and more importantly,  Elizabeth provides a ton of information about rose care and introduces us to the world of a rose nursery which is amazing! 

I loved the experience! They invite you coffee,  tea and homemade cake (the fruit cake is superb!) after the chat and you can walk peacefully in the gardens, smelling and admiring roses.  

I will be back! Elizabeth and Jonathan are so welcoming and friendly. I'm so looking forward to the Spring workshops on pruning!

Booked the talk as a little birthday present for my best friend , who like me , loves roses and been luck enough to have quite a few of Appeldram roses but to be honest do not have much expertise in looking after them !
So informative and now have a new respect for rose growers , so much hard work involved from conception to those beautiful blooms .
